Caitlin Hoemmen will present her Silver Cross recital in Voice on Saturday, May 24, at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart-Griffin High School's Dominican Hall, 1200 W. Washington St. in Springfield. She is the daughter of Sue and George Hoemmen, and a voice student of Karen Danner.

Her recital, which is free and open to the public, will include Gluck's O del mio dolce ardor, Beethoven's Ich Liebe Dich, Bizet's Habanera and Memory from Cats.

Caitlin is a senior at SHG, where she is a member of Encore. She received consecutive superiors at IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest for four years and was selected for the Illinois Music Educator's All-State Choir this year. She plans to attend Southeast Missouri State in the fall.
