DECATUR — St. Teresa High School is looking at bringing international students to the the school and greater Decatur community.

Development director Brandon Barney says they are searching for families to host international students that will be arriving next Fall.

“We have young ladies and young men from China that are interested in attending high school in America,” said Audra Murray of New Oasis Global Program which administers the outreach. “They have all completed an international preparatory program, with a proven track record for excelling academically.”

Host families provide meals, a bedroom, transportation and a warm family environment. A monthly stipend of $1,100 will be provided to the families to offset housing costs.

Those interested in serving as a host family or have any questions may contact the main office at (217) 875-2431 or Audra . The New Oasis story can be found at www.st-teresahs.org/hostfamily.
