Mt. Zion — HSHS Medical Group celebrated and cut the ribbon at its new location in Mt. Zion on Sept. 11. Father Steve Arisman, pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Parish, offered a blessing of the new state-of-the-art offices.
“This practice began as Mt. Zion Family Care Center for 31 years and has a long legacy of offering patient-first care to the community,” said Melinda Clark, chief executive officer of HSHS Medical Group. “As part of the HSHS Medical Group family, the staff and providers at this practice are dedicated to our promise of patient-first care and living our core values of respect, care, competence and joy.”
Clark was joined at the event by Dr. Loren Hughes, president of HSHS Medical Group.
There are several health care providers under one roof at the Mt. Zion facility including Dr. Brooke Ballard.; Dr. Daniel Smith; Certified Nurse Practicioners Julie Auton and Joya Ryan, and Certified Physician Assistant Amanda Shils. They provide a range of medical care for patients of all ages from minor procedures to acute care medicine, general wellness care, well-child examinations, well-woman exams and chronic illness management.
